The
Toronto Garrison Sailing Club (TGSC) is co-located with
HMCS York in downtown Toronto. TGSC is a self-help organization
- the membership participates in a variety of activities
to support the club including: maintenance of the foreshore
and clubhouse, organization of social events and sail
training. TGSC welcomes all members of the Military
Community, their dependants, and DND employees.
The aim of
TGSC is to:
Promote
the activity of sailing for the Military Community,
their dependants, and DND employees within the Toronto
area,
Provide
an opportunity for friendly relationships through
club meetings and gatherings,
Develop
members' skills and ability through club instruction
and lessons; and,
Gather
together the members of the Toronto Garrison community
who share their interest for sailing.

The TGSC is a fantastic opportunity for the military community in the Toronto area.
Our facilities at HMCS York, with the support of the Commanding Officers of HMCS York and Area Support Unit Toronto,
offer astonishing value to members of the Canadian Forces in the heart of the GTA.
If you have a boat, or not - sail, or would like to learn to sail - you should check us out.
We run sailing courses from the very beginner level up to more advanced using our own fleet of dinghies and our two Shark 24s.
Those with their own boats can moor with us and store over winter.
